The Festival of Trees is a key social occasion for local design professionals. Coordinated by Florida International University’s Interior Architecture Department, it is also a fundraising event that, with the participation of tree sponsors, displays and auctions their designs of “trees”, where all proceeds go towards the Florida International University’s Interior Architecture student scholarships. As a have been collaborating with the design community for years, we were more than happy to take part in the event. We will be making an appearance as a sponsor, working with the Miami interior design firm, Echeverria Design Group.
Connecting to the design community with manufacturers’ product detail since 1969, we knew that the festival would be a great way to display our own unique holiday creations while contributing to South Florida’s architecture and design community. Trespa®, which is known for its distinct style, compelling aesthetic, and nearly limitless design possibilities will be sure to catch the eyes of architects and designers alike. We’re confident that having our Trespa® brand tree displayed and auctioned at this year’s Gala, will leave a lasting impression.
The lucky winners of the tree will be able to take home this piece of art just in time for the holiday season! Trees that are not sold at the auction will be donated to the Cortxia Foundation, a nonprofit organization that is working towards an understanding of genomic coding, to help identify its connection to cognitive barriers and learning disabilities.
