The Festival of Trees is a key social occasion for local design professionals. Coordinated by Florida International University’s Interior Architecture Department, it is also a fundraising event that, with the participation of tree sponsors, displays and auctions their designs of “trees”, where all proceeds go towards the Florida International University’s Interior Architecture student scholarships.
